Some residents, like myself, believe that under her leadership, Chicago may face a bleak future, similar to smaller cities like Gary, Indiana, if left unchecked.

While I no longer reside in Chicago, my connection to the city runs deep. I briefly lived in Chicago for about five years after a long-distance relationship. My husband got transferred, and we moved there a few weeks after he started his new job. During that time, I fell in love with the city's charm and the sense of community it fosters.
