The Impact of Coffee on Spiritual Growth: My Journey to Awakening

Does Coffee Hinder Spiritual Growth? My Journey from Awakening to Rejection

My road to spiritual growth has involved a series of personal sacrifices and re-evaluations. Over time, I have managed to let go of several habits and foods that I felt were hindering my spiritual journey. Of all the things I had to abandon, it was coffee that seemed the most insurmountable. My experiences with coffee have brought to light the effects that certain substances can have on our spiritual and physical states.

My Awakening and Inner Guidance

As I moved deeper into my spiritual path, I found myself instinctively cutting out certain foods. For instance, I stopped eating food that was kept in the refrigerator years ago and no longer consume hotel food. I also reduced my intake of sugary snacks and sweets, along with smoking meat and only indulging in it once a year. My diet now consists of more water, vegetables, and fruits, with the occasional indulgence following an inner guidance.

This inner guidance has provided me with a much-needed energy boost, not only physically but also spiritually and mentally. I feel a sense of purity and good health that seems unmatched by any external factors. While some days I naturally follow what my body craves, these moments have heightened my well-being significantly.

Quitting Coffee and Sugar: A Spiritual Awakening

My journey towards a caffeine-free life began in April 2020, when I decided to quit both coffee and sugar, along with incorporating a 16:8 fasting routine. After about a month, I noticed an incredible transformation. My senses were heightened to an unbelievable extent. My sense of smell became incredibly acute, and my sense of taste was far more pronounced. There was a warmth that seemed to emanate from people, almost like auras that I could detect from a few feet away. It was a spiritual experience that I will not soon forget.

As time passed and I returned to consuming sugar and caffeine, I noticed a significant decline in my overall sensitivity. This realization made me question the quality and impact of the substances I put into my body on my spiritual state.

Other Habits and Their Impact

After quitting alcohol, meat, cigars, television, and social media, I realized that I had only coffee and water as my beverage preferences. To further enhance my health, I installed a reverse osmosis system and meditated with hemi-sync frequencies, finding that these practices were key to my spiritual growth.

My journey also involved experimentation with mind-altering substances. I used to smoke weed three times a day and use pre-workout stimulants with strong caffeine content. However, after awakening, I noticed a significant change in my perception of these substances. Weed used to raise my vibration, but after my spiritual awakening, it had the opposite effect. I felt that smoking weed was like smoking blank swishers, purely a waste of time and resources.

Many individuals, especially stoners, hold the belief that weed is a magical panacea. However, I believe that weed can be detrimental to spiritual growth, especially at certain stages of development. Weed can lower one's vibration and hinder the awakening of the third eye. Conversely, activities like meditation and certain meditative practices can help open the third eye, which is crucial for spiritual development.

It is essential to be aware that substances like nicotine can also negatively impact spiritual growth, as they can cloud the mind and obstruct the progression of intuition. Red meat, although not my main focus, can also cause energy to become dense, and it's a decision that I have made to limit its consumption in my diet.

Overall, my journey has taught me that certain substances can hinder spiritual growth and that a mindful approach to our diet and lifestyle is crucial for maintaining a clear and open mind. While microdosing might be an option for some, it's important to use these practices wisely and with caution.
