The gym at BITS Pilani is well-equipped and caters to a variety of fitness needs, offering a range of cardio machines, weightlifting equipment, and space for group exercises. It is designed to support students in maintaining their physical health alongside their academic commitments. In addition to the gym, BITS Pilani often offers various fitness programs and activities, including yoga, aerobics, and sports, encouraging a holistic approach to health and wellness. Introduction to the BITS Pilani Gym

The gym at BITS Pilani is quite spacious and impressive compared to other outside gyms. When compared to the BITS Pilani Gonabad campus, it is significantly larger. Located inside the Student Activity Center (SAC), the gym can be divided into seven rooms, out of which six are specifically designed for workouts, and one is an office room. As a former member of the BITS Pilani powerlifting team, I have extensive experience using the gym and can guide you through its various features.

The equipment is in good condition and regularly maintained to ensure user safety. Group Exercise Room: Designed for group training sessions, this area is equipped with mats and other equipment for strength training, stretching, and group classes. Office Room: This area serves as a central hub for managing the gym's operations, including scheduling and maintenance.

The gym is open for specific hours during the morning and evening. Registration for the semester is very affordable, costing only a mere 150 Indian Rupees. This makes it an accessible resource for all students who wish to stay fit and maintain their physical health.

Additional Amenities

For breaks or when you find the treadmill boring, students have the option to use the nearby badminton and table tennis courts. These sports facilities complement the gym and offer a fun way to stay active and relieve stress.
